Welcome to Banister Park
Whether you're an experienced player or a complete beginner, we give everyone a warm, friendly welcome at Banister Park Bowling Club.
Our facilities include two six-rink outdoor bowling greens and an eight-rink indoor bowls arena, and members do not pay any rink fees. We welcome members who want to play competitively or just want to play for fun, we cater for under 18s and offer coaching to schools.
We host a range of social events throughout the year, and our spacious function area, restaurant and bar is available for private hire.

Good start to the season by both men and women
The traditional contests between the women of Banister Park and County Bowling Club for the Millennium Bowl and the men's equivalent for the Tickle Cup took place this weekend in glorious sunshine. Banister Park emerged the winners in both competitions and the Millennium Bowl was presented to Ladies' Captain Sally Young by Ken Foulkes, originator of this event in the year 2000.
There will be an outdoor open roll-up for all bowlers at 2.00pm each Tuesday. Just turn up if you would like to play.
Winter Indoor League 2021/22 Results
The Winter Indoor League Season has now ended and a list of winners and runners up can be found here.
Congratulations to all winners and runners up. Small monetary prizes will be available over the bar shortly.
Indoor Competition Finals Results
JUNIORS are welcome to come along to the club every Saturday morning for some coaching and to make new friends. 9.30 - 11.30. Free of charge! We have a vibrant junior section and youngsters aged from 9 are welcome. Refreshments available and bar open for parents!

The committee has organised a number of social activities to run throughout the year and you can find the list here.
As the date of each event gets nearer, there will be more information and a list on the Social Activities Noticeboard for you to add your name if you would like to attend. Guests of members always welcome - the more the merrier.
Sunday morning roll-ups are now running every week 9.30 - 11.30. If you would like to play just turn up at 9.15am.
Paul and Dee have introduced a new extended menu for every day - come along to check it out.
The wearing of masks is requested at the club while moving around the clubhouse. If you are seated, eating, drinking or playing on the rinks you may remove your mask.
